Step into Brenda Hall’s AlaMar Alpaca Farm & Anna Barnett’s Shop: The Pilot’s Wife stores located in the South side of the Hartville MarketPlace & Flea Market and you will be amazed at all of the beautiful and useful items that can be made from Alpaca fiber! Alpaca fiber is more durable, washable, water, wrinkle & stain resistant than cashmere, and the beauty of it is that it’s less expensive. 
Brenda teams up with three local Alpaca farmers located in Paris, Minerva and Alliance, Ohio to create apparel and accessories such as sweaters, capes, hats, scarves, purses, gloves, socks, slippers, felted pins and shawls.
For the home, Brenda and her business partner Anna Barnett create pillows, blankets, felted magnets, plant fertilizer, rugs, felted soaps, “Paca puffs” for the face & body, stuffed animals and dryer balls (one of her best sellers). We were intrigued by the dryer balls and now own one for our home and purchased another for a housewarming gift basket. They are proven to reduce dryer time and are a natural green alternative to fabric softener and dryer sheets.
Bird “nesters” are available for your favorite feathered friends and your four legged friends will enjoy the durable cat and dog toys.
Brenda & Anna will create a work space in their newly expanded shop to include classes for guests to learn how to create their own one-of-a-kind alpaca fiber scarves and small projects.
