Sledding and Cross Country Skiing at Quail Hollow State Park

Winter is a great time to enjoy the outdoors in Lake Township.

Stop by Two E’s in a Pod to bundle up the kiddos in snowsuits, gloves, and hats, fill up your thermos with cocoa from Moore than Coffee, and head over to Quail Hollow State Park for sledding and cross country skiing.

Beginning Sunday, December 30th cross country skiing is permitted on all 9 trails when the ground is frozen.  Click here for a Quail Hollow Trail Map. Park volunteers recommend at least 3 inches of snow for optimal skiing conditions.

Skis and poles can be rented on weekends in the rental shop in the lower level of the Manor House Saturdays from 10-4 and Sundays from noon to 4.  Groups may schedule times during the week.

Cost is $8/hour for ages 7 and up and $4/hour for children ages 6 and under
$6/hour for groups of 10 or more.

Sledders also enjoy the hill by the manor house.
