Stark Parks to Manage Quail Hollow Park

Starting January 8th, 2016, Quail Hollow Park will be under new management. Stark Parks will be taking over, from a management perspective, for the state of Ohio. With the change will come gradual modifications, but most of the beloved features, such as stark parks logoChristmas at the Hollow and cross country skiing, will be staying the same. The first difference that park-goers may notice will be signage and the incorporation of Stark County’s favorite frog, FeLeap.

Stark Parks staff have already been active with Quail Hollow through the latest Christmas at the Hollow, which took place from December 10th through the Copy of cross counry skis at quail hollow12th. The event brought records turnouts as attendance spiked from approximately 1,000 visitors last year to roughly 4,400 this year. The Stark Parks team aided through volunteering at the event and advertising it in their newsletter, and have already begun brainstorming how to help the Quail Hollow Volunteer Association continue to grow those numbers.
