Happy New Year! Our local businesses are planning lots of fun for 2018. Here’s a sneak peek to get the new year ball rolling.
Kick off the New Year
Live music every Friday & Saturday night at Maize Valley sets the background for a great night out. Hit up The Island Doctor Party on January 20th for an evening of Jimmy Buffet style music and you’ll forget it’s winter!
More January Fun
– Namaste Getaway at Comfort Suites
– Winter Soups Cooking Class at Harmon Creek Farm
– Coffee & Canvas at Moore than Coffee
– History at the Hollow: Rails & Trails Talk & Tour at Quail Hollow Park
Let it Snow
January means it’s time for cross country skiing at Quail Hollow Park. The rental shop is open Saturdays and Sundays when the ground is frozen and there is at least 4 inches of snow cover. Snow shoes can be rented too!
Plus, Stark Parks offers free cross country skiing basics classes Saturday mornings. Register online and you will be notified if conditions are right for class.
What’s New?
Hartville Kitchen’s 2018 dinner show schedule is filled with returning favorites and NEW acts. The season kicks off with Sandi Patty in February!
Look out for a new bakery experience unveiled early in 2018 too. Changes include a new look, new chocolatier Honadles Chocolates, and grab & go bakery items.
Have littles? Keep an eye out for the first Princess Tea Party at Moore than Coffee!
One of the biggest changes you’ll see this year is a shopping addition at Hartville MarketPlace and Flea Market. Undergoing a remodel that will feature new vendors with a focus on specialty foods, this wing will be open 6 days a week beginning in the spring!
Here’s to a great 2018. We’ll see you in Hartville!
