A great way to stock up on a summer’s worth of reading is by patronizing the once-a-year Friends of the Lake Community Branch Library Book Sale on June 19-21. Hours are 9 a.m.-7.30 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday, and BAG Day is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Fill a bag for $3.00.The Lake Community Branch Library is located at 565 Market Ave. SW in Lake Township.
Gently used books of all types will be on sale at bargain prices. Books are displayed in categories to make browsing easier. Children’s books are arranged by reading levels and by subject. In addition to books, jigsaw puzzles and various types of electronic media such as audio books, CDs, and DVDs will be for sale.
This annual book sale is the sole fundraiser for the Friends of the Lake Community Branch Library. All proceeds are used to improve the Lake Community Branch Library facilities and services.
