17th Annual An Evening in the Village

An Evening in the Village brings together local residents, tourists, merchants, government, community organizations, local scouts, church groups, and more for a time of togetherness and holiday cheer. Bring your family and friends to celebrate a Hartville tradition!
- Tree Lighting at 5:00pm. This year the tree will be lit by WWII Veteran, Paul Kamerer in honor of Pearl Harbor Day.

Ride the Fire Truck with Santa
An Evening in the Village Kicks off with Santa arriving by fire truck at 4:30pm. Enter below for a chance to ride the Fire Truck with Santa!

Cookie Contest
Drop off a dozen cookies with your name and recipe at Village Hall between 4:30 and 5:30pm the day of the event. Adult and children category winners will be announced at approximately 6:30pm following the tree/basket auction.
Tree and Basket Auction
Decorated trees and gift baskets donated by local businesses and organizations will be displayed in Village Hall, and bids will be taken from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at 6:00 p.m.
Coloring Contest (entries must be turned in by December 1st)
Kids ages pre-K through 3rd Grade can enter the An Evening in the Village coloring contest. Entries will be displayed in downtown shops for the event making finding YOUR picture a fun scavenger hunt for the kids. Click here for details.
