Mini Soap Box Derby Races

Mini racers built by Lake’s fifth and sixth graders will race one another on a small, two-lane track at Lake Stadium.
Fifth graders: 5-6 p.m.
Sixth graders 6-7 p.m.
Each student can race their mini car at least two times. The top 20 cars will race again with the five fastest moving on to race against the high school mini cars built by GenYes students.
Five full sized Soap Box Derby cars, to be raced at Derby Downs in Akron will also be on display
Admission is free and donations will be accepted to support future STEM programming.
In case of inclement weather, races will be moved to Lake High School Gym
