Vernal Pools and Spring Amphibians

Spring is on its way. Amphibians are on of the earliest signs of spring, with spring peepers singing before all the snow has melted.  Vernal pools are temporary pools of water that are critical for the success of many amphibian species.  Meet at the Nature Center to discover and discuss vernal pools, and then hike the trails in search of frogs, toads, and salamanders. Please dress for the weather and expect to get muddy!
