Arbor Day is a national holiday celebrating trees, held annually on the last Friday of April. Celebrate Arbor Day with us at Quail Hollow Park and participate in the City Nature Challenge! The City Nature Challenge is an international effort for people to find and document plants and wildlife in cities across the globe. It’s a bioblitz-style competition where cities are in a contest against each other to see who can make the most observations of nature, who can find the most species, and who can engage the most people. Bring your smartphone (or your camera!). Drop in at the Gazebo at Quail Hollow Park anytime between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm and get tips and tricks for using iNaturalist.
