We welcome guest blogger, Danielle Weiler, from Northeast Ohio Family Fun to the blog today. She recently visited Memorial Park, one of the many parks in Lake Township.
At the start of the summer, my kids (ages 7 and 5) and I decided we would visit a different park each week. Thankfully, there are so many wonderful options to choose from and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed exploring our surrounding communities in search of new playgrounds.
It’s been a fun tradition that I hope to keep up for years to come.
We recently made the trip to Hartville Memorial Park and had a great time! If you’ve never been to the park I highly suggest visiting soon.
All About Hartville Memorial Park
The park is located just behind Hartville/Lake Elementary School and is an ideal spot for families looking to get outside and enjoy some fresh air.
Young children will enjoy the playgrounds at the park. There are two different areas with play equipment. The largest is located near the center of the park and consists of a variety of slides, bridges, swings and climbing structures.
My kids loved the off center teeter totters.
There are also two shelters located at the park. Both can be reserved and would be a great location for a birthday party, family reunion, graduation celebration or any other big gathering.
For those that enjoy walking, there is a long paved walking / running path that winds around the park.

I want to know more information about the shelters. Is the one shelter enclosed to be able to have a birthday party in February. If so, can I please have information regarding price and other details? Thanks!
Hi Alison,
These are reserved through the Village of Hartville. They can let you know available dates and payment info by calling 330-877-9222.
