Join the viewing party at Hartville MarketPlace & Flea Market! DJ, kid activities, Stark Library Lake Branch craft time, Bookmobile, Kona Ice, Wagler Farms Food Truck, and more are planned. A special viewing area will be set up for those that register. The first 500 groups to register get eclipse glasses (2 pair per household) and special Hartville coupons. All registrants will be entered into the Summer Fun in Hartville giveaway, which includes a one-night stay at Comfort Suites Hartville, along with a brimming gift basket and gift cards.

Eclipse Watch Party Noon-4pm
Join us for our first ever, and only ever, Eclipse Watch Party. The party starts at 12 noon and includes live music provided by Mike Lenz and the Highway 61 Band, a delicious Galaxy Board of appetizers, snacks, and sweet treats, a pair of viewing glasses, some terrific drink specials, and games like corn hole and giant jenga. The Uniontown United Methodist Church is hosting a free eclipse viewing party for the community! This family-friendly event will offer a spectacular view of the eclipse, with free eclipse glasses for the first 100 attendees to ensure safe viewing. There will be fun activities and games to keep everyone entertained, along with snacks and refreshments. Feel free to bring a lawn chair for maximum comfort, though a limited number of plastic chairs will also be available. Don’t miss this exciting chance to witness a celestial wonder together! - Local parks will be open for viewing with parking and space access on a first come-first serve basis. Some parks have more tree coverage than others. Consider planning your watch spot prior to eclipse day. The sun will be located SSW to SW about 50° above the horizon.

Pegasus Farm
Pre-Solar Eclipse Day — Saturday, April 6th 9am-4pm
Join us for some pre-solar eclipse fun at Pegasus Farm Country Store and Gardens. Experience the laid back, rural landscape of the farm while enjoying activities like yard games, blowing bubbles, and meeting our 4H animals, which include goats, rabbits, a Guinea Pig, and Blossom, our miniature horse who serves as the head of equine public relations.
Our Country Store offers products from local vendors, bulk foods, gift items, drinks, snacks, and more. Our hot dog stand will be open from 11AM to 2PM for a delicious lunch! Additionally, the first 50 visitors who come to the Country Store and Gardens will receive a free grab bag filled with eclipse-themed goodies, including a pair of eclipse glasses.

Travel Tips & What to Bring
- Get your viewing filters (ie eclipse glasses) before the event. Bring along a kitchen colandar as an alternative way to indirectly look at the eclipse. Here’s a fun activity for kids to make and add extra sun protection to their eclipse glasses.
- April weather can a mixed bag. Remember to pack gloves, layers, and sunscreen. Check current weather conditions.
- What else to bring? Folding chairs or lawn blankets. Have kiddos? Bring along games and activities to play leading up to totality.
- Plan on extra travel time. Enjoy our town before and after totality to avoid highway traffic jams.
- In case of cellular connectivitly issues, download a Hartville area map to your phone before your visit.
