Bake for the Quake Bake Sale

Bake Sale for Earthquake Relief
Saturday, May 27th 8am-4pm (or sell out) at Hartville Hardware. All proceeds will be sent to a
trusted organization that has recovery workers already at work within Turkey. There will also be a caricature artist who grew up in Turkey offering to draw caricatures of you, your friends, or your children during this bake sale for a donation to this cause. The Why
On February 6th along the Turkish, Syrian border a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck a heavily
populated region. 2 days later an additional 7.5 after shock struck. The devastation and
resulting casualizes have been staggering. 55,259 dead so far, 121,704 injuries’, currently,
there are 2.6 million living in tent cities. Concerned Christian brothers and sisters from
Evermore Community Church are planning with others at Cornerstone Community Chapel to
host a bake sale/fundraiser. Pastor Ron Embleton of Cornerstone lived in this region of Turkey between 1996-2004.

To Bake
We would greatly appreciate all efforts to help bake for this fundraiser. If you would like to contribute through baking goods, you can drop off your baked goods from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26th at Cornerstone Community Chapel located at 1250 Edison St. NW. Hartville or at the latest on Saturday morning at Hartville Hardware.
