Travel back to simpler days, when the “Telephone Hour” was on a rotary phone rather than a cell phone, by attending Lake High School’s musical production of Bye Bye Birdie. Conrad Birdie, an Elvis-inspired rock star, sparks teens’ shrieks and swoons as he travels to Sweet Apple, Ohio to stage “One Last Kiss” before shipping out for military service. Over 100 high school students will be a part of this production on the stage, in the orchestra, or behind the scenes.
Our Project Connect performance, which is free to the community, will be offered on April 12th at 2:45 in the LMHS Performing Arts Hall (enter through Door 22).
Regular performances are April 13th, 14th and 15th at 7:00 pm and our matinee will be Sunday, April 16th at 2:00 pm.
Tickets are $15.00 each and will go on sale beginning Friday, March 17th on the http://lakelocal.org website.
You’ll “Put on a Happy Face” as you realize teens really haven’t changed so much, after all!
