In 2007, the Quail Hollow Volunteer Association began restoring the historic Rock Garden at Quail Hollow Park. This garden is significant as it was designed by famous landscape architect Warren Manning and has connections to the Seiberling family of Akron, OH. Join one of the volunteers who has spearheaded this project since the beginning on a walk through the garden areas. She will discuss the landscape design of these areas, the connection between the Seiberlings and Stewarts, the family’s use of this garden, and the on-going efforts to restore this area. Please meet at the Gazebo near the Nature Center at 2 pm to begin. The Manor House will also be open from 1-4 pm this day for self-guided tours.
