Being a kid picker is all about unlocking the mysteries of the past. Learn where and how to pick an item, how to bargain, research the story, determine value, and how to start your own collection. This three part class for kids ages 9-13 years old and their parents, grandparents (or any adult) will be lead by Lake Township Historical Society’s Museum curator.
June 21st: View items from the museum’s archive and learn their history. Watch an episode of American Pickers and learn the skills needed to pick an item.
June 22nd: Each kid picker will bring 2 items for Show and Tell and talk about how to research their stories
June 23rd: Field trip to Hartville Flea Market to test your new skills!
