The Lake Township Historical Society will host a day of lunch and music on April 24th from 11am-1pm
“The Boys of Brass II” from Lake High School under the direction of Mr. Rich Kibbler will entertain. Bring a lawn chair to sit to watch. Please keep your group small and socially distanced from other groups. Or enjoy the music while you stroll downtown shops.
SR 43 will be closed between 619 and Sunnyside to allow for more distancing and easy crossing.
The Historical Society will have lunch available along with village eateries.
Merchants will have special items available for your shopping enjoyment.
The day will end with Tanner Boston receiving his Eagle Scout Award.
Tanner’s project of creating and placing historical QR codes on many of the buildings in downtown Hartville and Lake Township was sponsored by the Historical Society. Throughout the day you can pickup a flyer describing his project and take a walking and driving tour to listen to Tanner’s description of his project and the buildings. A QR code can be read by a phone or tablet linking you to Tanner’s YouTube videos.
