Stark Parks is embarking on a public engagement process to gather community input for the
development of a Master Plan for Quail Hollow Park. The Master Plan will assess existing and future
needs at the park and make strategic recommendations for capital improvements, operations and
maintenance, and programming within the park boundary, while also considering how to best connect
Quail Hollow Park to the surrounding community through the region’s Trail and Greenway Master Plan.
The second and final Public Forum with the community will be held at the Lake High School Cafeteria
at 1025 Lake Center St. NW in Uniontown from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on April 12th, 2017.
This meeting will begin with a 20 to 30 minute presentation summarizing past planning efforts and public involvement to date as well as detailing the proposed Master Plan Concepts for Quail Hollow Park. After the
presentation, the public is encouraged to breakout into small group discussions at stations to ask
questions, provide input, and express opinions on the plan. The feedback gathered will help mold the
final Master Plan for the park. The Master Plan will be finalized in June of 2017.
We look forward to seeing you on April 12th!
