On the fun list this week…Santa makes a few more stops in Lake Township, great sales for your Christmas shopping, and a Hartville Christmas tradition, Christmas at the Hollow.
Holiday Events
- Breakfast with Santa at Hartville MarketPlace: Meet and greet Santa while enjoying a delicious breakfast. Each child receives a free photo with Santa, exclusive discounts from select MP vendors, and a few additional surprises. $5 Tickets available at customer service. A few spaces are open for the Saturday, December 14th 8:00am breakfast.
- Breakfast with Santa at Maize Valley: Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, juice & coffee. Santa will be on hand passing out gifts to the children – there will also be lots of photo opportunities – bring your own camera. There is also a make and take ornament station for the kids. The December 14th breakfast is sold out but space is available for the Saturday, December 21st breakfast at 9am or 11am. $9 adults and kids over age 9, $7 kids age 2-9.Advanced, prepaid reservations are required for this event. - Christmas at the Hollow at Quail Hollow State Park: An annual event held at the former H.B. Stewart estate at Quail Hollow State Park. Along with a self-guided tour through the decorated 40 room home, you can visit with Santa, make a natural ornament to take home, toast marshmallows at the warming fire, enjoy a wagon ride through the woods, watch a wood carving demonstration each night, or shop at the Quail’s Nest Gift Shop. Bring your own camera or for a cost of $6.00 to $8.00 you can have a photo taken of your kids with Santa in a cozy setting by a decorated tree and fireplace. Cookies and milk, popcorn, wassail, hot chocolate, coffee and tea will be sold. All parking is on-site. If you have trouble walking from the parking lot or in case of inclement weather, simply let parking attendants know you need shuttle bus assistance. Admission is $2.00 for adults 18 and older. Donations of new toys will be collected by the US Marine Corp. Be sure to Arrive at least an hour before closing. Thursday-Saturday December 12th, 13th, and 14th 6-9pm.
- Kids Shop Free at Twice is Nice: Kids 12 & under visit with Santa, then shop & wrap a gift free for Mom & Dad up to $4 with Santa’ s helpers. Bring your camera! Donation of non perishable food item or pet item is requested. Monday, December 16th 5:30-7.
