Here’s your scoop to a great Memorial Day weekend in Hartville and Lake Township. Have a fun and safe holiday!
Memorial Services
Hartville
Monday, May 26th at 9am at Memorial Park. Meet at the Hartville Locker (119 Sunnyside St. NW) to begin procession to the park. The public is welcome to join the procession along with local boy scouts, drummers, and veterans. Ceremony to be held at Memorial Park behind Hartville Elementary school will include speakers, singing, wreath placement, and snack afterwards.
Uniontown
Monday, May 26th 1:30pm at the All Veterans Memorial at Uniontown Community Park. This year’s ceremony honors the 5 founders of the park.

Hometown Carnival at Schoner Chevrolet

May 23 – May 26.
Friday 5-10pm, Saturday/Sunday 1-10pm, and Monday 1-8pm
Tickets are $1 per ticket (2 tickets per ride). Armbands are available for $18 for all day rides. Discount armbands can be purchased at Schoner Chevrolet for $16 per person before the event.
Southern country rock band, Changes, will perform FREE on Friday from 7-10pm.
The Pool Opens at Clearwater/Jellystone Park!
Opening day for the pool is Friday, May 23rd. Hours are 11a-7p Monday-Saturday and noon-7pm on Sundays. Daily passes are available for $10.50 and seasonal passes for $95.
Shopping
The HUGE Memorial Day weekend at Hartville MarketPlace and Flea Market begins Friday. Special hours on Monday: The main building will open at 6am for early bird breakfast. Indoor Shops and Outdoor Vendors open at 8am…a whole hour early. Normal hours (9am-5pm) for all other days. Closed on Sunday.

Alternate Routes
Navigate the town like a local with these handy by-passes!
Use the back entrance to the Flea Market: Access off of Market St. Get there from the north by taking Waterloo Rd. to Mishler Rd. Mishler will turn in to Market. OR State Route 43, right on Andrews then left on Market.
By-Passing St Rt 619: Andrews St., Lake Center St., Woodland St., and Sunnyside St. are all great east/west alternate routes. King Church Ave. Runs north/south and ends at SR 619 at the entrance to the flea market.
