Hartville Harvest in the Village
September 14th, noon-4pm
Family friendly fall activities including live music, crafts, wagon rides, barrel train rides, corn hole, and a free community picnic. Sponsored by Cornerstone Community Chapel, Bethany, Evermore, and New Life churches.
720 Market in the ‘Ville
October 5th 10am-3pm
We’re back for more SHOPPING LOCAL in the Historic Downtown Hartville! Expect a fun day mixin’ in with the locals with this 720 Market collaboration with Lake Township Chamber of Commerce, the Village of Hartville and all the great downtown Hartville shops!

An Evening in the Village
December 8th 4:30-7pm
Bring your friends and family to enjoy a Hartville Christmas tradition – the annual tree lighting festivities! Spend your evening jumping from shop to shop enjoying open houses, listening to local choirs and musicians, and visiting with Santa. There is also a tree & basket silent auction, cookie contest, kid crafts and activities, wagon rides, photo booth and so much more!
- Tree Lighting: Meet in the square by 5 pm to countdown to the glow! Many thanks to Horning Sarchione Innerst – Private Wealth Management Group for sponsoring this year’s tree and decorations.
- Santa Arrives: Watch as Hartville Fire Department brings Santa to Downtown at 5:15pm! Santa will stay during the event to visit with kiddos and take photos.
- Cookie Contest: Drop off 1 dozen cookies on a disposable plate to Village Hall on the day of the event from 4:30- 5:15pm. Kids and adults are encouraged to enter!
- Tree & Basket Silent Auction: View items and place your bids at Village Hall during the event. Bidding ends at 6pm. Need not be present to win. Proceeds from this year’s auction will be donated to Compassioned Delivered, an area non-profit that provides high-quality meals at no cost to people suffering from life-threatening or terminal diseases.
- Coloring Contest: Attention pre-K through 3rd graders. Your coloring skills are needed to decorate downtown shops. Contact info will be removed and pictures will hang in downtown shops during the event. Come find yours!

Lake Local & Lake Center students will receive copies in class. They can return completed coloring contest entries to their classroom teachers by Wednesday, November 20th. Pictures can also be returned to Two E’s in a Pod or Best Bib and Tucker by Friday, November 22nd.

About the Neighborhood
Historic Downtown Hartville is located at the intersection of E. Maple St. and S. Prospect Ave (State Routes 619 & 43) on the east side of town. With roots as a crossroads for travelers the area has long been a place where people gather. Today’s downtown features a walkable neighborhood of more than a dozen small shops and places to grab a snack alongside historic landmarks.
